The plaintiffs in the above-entitled cause,
pursuant to Rule 34 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, request that
defendants produce the documents hereinafter described, except to the
extent copies thereof are supplied as attachments to defendant's
responses to plaintiff's Interrogatories, and permit plaintiffs and their
attorneys to inspect them and copy such of them as they may desire.
Plaintiffs request that the documents be made available for this
inspection at plaintiff's offices at 191 East 161st Street, Bronx, New
York, or at such other offices of plaintiffs as may be the location of
any of the documents requested; in normal business hours, with the least
possible disruption to the ordinary course of defendants duties and
responsibilities.
Plaintiffs further request that this inspection
be permitted by defendants immediately after defendants' response to this
request has been filed, and that their attorneys be permitted
to remove from defendants' custody such of the documents as they
desire to copy, on the understanding that plaintiffs' attorneys will be
responsive for these documents so long as

they are in their possession, that copying will be done at
plaintiffs'
expense, and that the documents will be promptly returned
immediately
after copying has been completed.
This request is intended to cover all documents
in possession of any of the defendants, or subject to their custody and
control, whether they are located in any of defendants' district offices,
any of their division offices, or any other office maintained by the
defendants, or any of them.
As used in this request, the term "document"
shall be synonymous with the term "record" or
"records" appearing the Freedom of Information Act, and refers
to those documents sought to be disclosed in paragraph 18 of plaintiffs'
complaint, including raw data, research data, interview reports, books,
records, correspondence. telegrams, interview notes, tabulations,
compilations, charts, surveys, appraisals, work sheets, 6(b) and other
reports, letters, correspondence, notes, pamphlets, leaflets, diaries,
telegrams, desk calendars, appointment logs, memoranda of oral
conferences, memoranda of conversations, memoranda of meetings, memoranda
of telephone calls, Minutes and all transcriptions or reproductions by
any means thereof, together with all drafts of any written document, and
all other documentary material of any nature whether written, printed,
typed, recorded, or other graphic matter, however produced or reproduced
in defendants' possession, custody or control, from whatever source
obtained and whether or not prepared by defendants.
"Document" also includes all records showing the
identities of
organizations, consultants, scientific and technical personnel who
conducted and collected or assembled data or participated in any manner
in the preparation of studies, reports, surveys, appraisals or
evaluations. "Document" shall refer to originals and all
non-identical copies, except

that copies which differ by reason of notations made thereon are
not considered identical copies.
As used in this request, the term 'UFO"
shall be defined in the same manner as the definition contained in
Plaintiffs' Interrogatories.
IDENTIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS
For each document sought below and not furnished
by defendants to plaintiffs within thirty (30) days after service of
these Interrogatories:
1. Identify the document by title or type, and indicate the subject matter and the date prepared or received by defendants, its author or sender and its recipient or
addressee.
PREPARATION OF DOCUMENTS
2. If the document was
prepared or submitted by a person not then employed by defendants, state
the name and address of such person.
3. If the document was
prepared or submitted by any person other than one who would be specified
in response to "2" hereof, state the name and business address
of such person and his title or position or other relationship with
